A Study on The Undocumented Children of Sabah

A Study on The Undocumented Children of Sabah began as an interest and observation on the children of the Bajau Laut (Sama Dilaut) community particularly in Kota Kinabalu during year 2015. It further led me to connect with the children born to Filipino migrants from year 2017 till now. The two categories though fall under ‘stateless’ , they are not to be lumped and seen together as equal. This research takes into account of both groups of children briefly, with its limitation and various encounters in separate manner. However, this paper at this point is non-conclusive, but to consider multiple openings that will allow the research to go on.
