Small reclining female figure in bogwood with a raised head and a limb-like protuberance at the top. The figure is intended to signify the Virgin Mary. A coat of epoxy has been applied to the surface to give the sculpture a smooth and polished texture. The sculpture is identified as the last piece of an assembled eight piece 'Nativity' series. The base is bronze.
