Life-size vertical sculpture in bronze with a brown patina, suggestive of an abstracted tree as a nest for a bird. The top half is formed with two large spirals curling inwards that resemble foliage. A bronze object shaped like a bird is housed inside the upper top spiral. Six small vine-like spirals adorn the lower surface of the body, curling out from a central vertical trunk. Two further protrusions, shaped as scrolls, project outwards from the midsection on opposite sides. The title of the work signals protective care. The sculpture has a marble base.
